20. Will my drainage pipes freeze with only TankBlankets fitted to my tanks?
The drain pipes between the holding tank and gate tap need to be protected.
They are positioned at the lowest point and therefore fill up first; so are at a high risk of freezing.
The basic rule is: If a tank or pipe contains fluid and is exposed to the elements then they need frost protection in cold weather.
