15. How do I know if the TankBlanket heater pad is working?
With the ambient temperature approaching freezing and TankBlanket switched on with water in the tank, the thermostat will activate and deactivate depending on the temperature of the tanks liquid content.
To check if the TankBlanket is functioning correctly touch the centre of the black foam backing. It should feel warm; this indicates the TankBlanket is working correctly.
